Addressable Spend

Addressable Spend Definition

Addressable spend refers to the portion of a company’s total spending that can be directly attributed to a specific marketing campaign or channel. This is typically calculated as a percentage of total marketing spend. For example, if a company spends $1,000 on marketing and $200 can be attributed to a specific campaign, then the addressable spend for that campaign would be 20%.

Addressable spend is an important metric for marketers to track because it allows them to see which campaigns are driving results and which ones are not. It also helps marketers allocate their resources more effectively by allowing them to focus on the campaigns that are yielding the greatest return on investment.
