Altering Documents After Signing Definition

Altering documents after signing refers to making changes to a document after it has been signed by all parties. This can be done for a number of reasons, including correcting errors, updating information, or adding new clauses. If all parties agree to the changes, then the document can be modified without voiding the original agreement. However, if even one party does not agree to the changes, then the entire document may be considered null and void. This is why it is important to be absolutely sure that all parties are in agreement before making any alterations to a signed document.
