Decentralizing
The act or process of decentralizing is the transfer of power from a central authority to regional or local authorities. The term can also refer to the diffusion of power away from a single actor or group to multiple actors or groups. In political science, decentralization refers to the dispersion of decision-making and administration away from a central government to regional and local governments.
