Discrimination is defined as the unfair or unfavorable treatment of an individual or group based on certain characteristics, such as race, ethnicity, gender, age, or disability. Discrimination can occur when someone is treated less favorably than others in similar situations, or when they are subjected to different rules or standards that are unfairly applied. It can also take the form of harassment or other forms of verbal or physical abuse.
