Etendering

Etendering Definition

Etendering is the process of soliciting bids for the supply of goods or services via an electronic platform. The platform may be an online marketplace, such as an e-procurement portal, or a bespoke system set up by the buyer.

Etendering has many benefits for both buyers and suppliers. For buyers, it is a more efficient way to run procurement processes, saving time and money. It also opens up the pool of potential suppliers, as businesses of all sizes can participate in online tenders. For suppliers, etendering provides a level playing field, as all businesses have equal access to opportunities. It also helps to speed up the bidding process and reduces costs associated with traditional paper-based tendering methods.
