Exponentially Weighted Average Method (Ewam) Definition

The Exponentially Weighted Average Method (Ewam) is a statistical method used to estimate the average of a population. The Ewam is calculated by taking the weighted average of all the values in the population, where the weights are exponentially distributed.

The Ewam has several advantages over other methods of estimation, including its ability to handle data that is non-stationary, its robustness to outliers, and its computational simplicity.
