Full Container Load (Fcl)

A full container load (FCL) is a shipment of goods that fill an entire container. FCL shipments are usually made by manufacturers or large retailers who have a lot of merchandise to ship. This type of shipment is more efficient and cost-effective than shipping smaller loads, which is why it’s the preferred method for most businesses.

Goods shipped via FCL generally arrive faster and in better condition than those shipped via other methods, since they’re not subject to the handling and re-packing that often occurs with smaller shipments. FCL also offers greater security, since the entire container can be sealed and tracked throughout its journey.
