Receivership

Receivership

Receivership is a process where a court-appointed receiver takes control of assets in order to protect them from creditors. This can happen when a company is insolvent or facing bankruptcy. The receiver will manage the assets and try to sell them off in order to pay back creditors. In some cases, the receiver may also be responsible for restructuring the company in an effort to make it more profitable.
