Rescind

When one party to a contract believes that the other party has breached the contract, they may attempt to rescind the contract. This means that they are attempting to void the contract and be released from their obligations under it. In order to successfully rescind a contract, the party seeking to do so must show that there was a breach of contract by the other party.
