Tendered Definition

A tender is an offer to do something, usually in the form of a proposal or contract. The person who makes the offer is called the ‘tenderer’. The person who accepts the offer is called the ‘offeree’.

Tenders are usually used in the context of business transactions, but they can also be used in personal relationships. For example, you might make a tender to your partner to take care of the children while you go out for a night on the town.
