Waiver

Waiver

A waiver is a legal document that releases someone from their liability or obligation. In order for a waiver to be binding, it must be signed by both parties.

There are many different types of waivers, but some of the most common are release of liability waivers and medical waivers. Release of liability waivers are often used in cases where someone is participating in an activity that has some risk involved, such as skydiving or rock climbing. Medical waivers are typically used when someone is receiving treatment from a healthcare provider.

It’s important to read any waiver carefully before signing it, as they can have a wide range of implications. Once a waiver is signed, it can be difficult to later back out of the agreement.
