Warranty

A warranty is a type of guarantee that a manufacturer or seller makes about the quality or performance of their product. It is designed to protect consumers from faulty products and compensate them for any damage or loss that might occur as a result of a defect.

Warranties can be either expressed or implied. An expressed warranty is an explicit promise made by the seller about the quality or performance of their product. An implied warranty is an unwritten guarantee that the product will meet certain standards of quality and performance.

Both types of warranties come with certain conditions and limitations. For example, an expressed warranty may only be valid for a certain period of time or may only cover certain types of defects. Similarly, an implied warranty may not apply if the consumer knew about the defect before purchasing the product.

It is important for consumers to understand the terms and conditions of any warranty before making a purchase. Otherwise, they may not be able to take advantage of it if something goes wrong with the product.
