Accounts Payable Turnover Days

The official definition of Accounts Payable Turnover Days is the number of days between the last day of a fiscal period and the date on which accounts payable are settled. The formula for calculating Accounts Payable Turnover Days is:

Accounts Payable Turnover Days = 365 – A/P Balance

or

A/P Balance = 365 – Accounts Payable Turnover Days

Explanation: To calculate the number of days based on a balance or a credit, you subtract the balance or credit from 365 (the number of days in a year).
