Active External Integration

Active External Integration Definition

External integration is the process of connecting disparate systems and data sources in order to exchange information between them. Active external integration goes one step further by not only exchanging data, but also actively manipulating it in order to achieve a desired outcome.

In order to achieve active external integration, data must be passed back and forth between systems in real-time. This requires a high degree of coordination and communication between different teams and departments within an organization. Furthermore, active external integration often relies on automated processes and scripts to manipulate data as it is being exchanged.

The benefits of active external integration include the ability to make more informed decisions, increased efficiency, and better overall coordination between different systems. However, the biggest challenge with active external integration is ensuring that the data being exchanged is accurate and up-to-date.
