The Agile Manifesto is a description of the values and principles of agile software development. It was originally created in 2001, and was updated in 2011 to include more emphasis on collaboration, communication and simplicity as key values of agile software development. The purpose of the manifesto is to define what it means to be agile, which enables us all to better understand the practices that are required for success.
