Alienation

Alienation Definition

The word “alienation” has many definitions, but in general, it refers to a feeling of disconnection from something.

People can feel alienated for many reasons. Some may feel like they don’t fit in with the mainstream culture or that they are misunderstood by others. Others may feel like they are not able to express themselves fully or that their voices are not heard.

Alienation can lead to feelings of isolation, loneliness, and depression. It can also make people more susceptible to substance abuse and other negative coping mechanisms.

If you are feeling alienated, it is important to reach out to someone who can help you understand your feelings and find ways to cope with them. There is no shame in seeking help, and there are many resources available to support you.
