Amendments To Contracts Definition

An amendment to a contract is a modification or addition to the original terms of the contract. The amendment must be agreed upon by both parties in order to be valid and binding. An amendment can be made for any number of reasons, including but not limited to:

-To reflect changes in circumstances that have occurred since the original contract was signed

-To add or remove clauses from the contract

-To make technical corrections to the contract

-To update the contract to reflect changes in the law

Making amendments to a contract can be a complicated process, so it is important to seek legal counsel if you are considering making any changes to an existing contract.
