An Implied Contract

An Implied Contract Definition

An implied contract is a legal agreement between two parties that is not expressly stated in writing. This type of contract is based on the understanding of both parties, and their actions or lack thereof. An implied contract can be created through the use of verbal communication, written communication, or even conduct. For example, if someone offers you a job and you accept, an implied contract has been created. This contract implies that you will perform the duties of the job in exchange for receiving payment.
