Belongingness Definition
Belongingness is the human emotional need to be an accepted member of a group. Whether it’s a family, friend group, co-workers, or something else, humans need to feel like they belong somewhere. The need for belongingness can be so strong that people will change themselves to fit in and feel accepted.
