Broken Contract

Broken Contract Definition

When a party to a contract fails to perform their obligations under the contract, they are said to have breached the contract. This can happen if they fail to complete the work they were contracted to do, or if they do not meet the standards set out in the contract. If the breach is serious enough, it can entitle the other party to cancel the contract and claim damages.
