Business Expenses Tax

Business Expenses Tax (BET) is the tax paid on purchases made by a business in the course of carrying out its normal operations. BET applies to businesses with both incorporated and unincorporated status and includes expenses for items such as marketing, materials, supplies, insurance premiums and utilities. Depending on local legislation, businesses might also be liable for additional taxes on entertainment and travel expenses. While BET can seem daunting at first, it’s an important part of running a successful business as it helps cover the costs associated with doing business. With the right knowledge and approach, Business Expense Tax can become a simple and manageable process.
