Chief Revenue Officer Vs Coo

A Chief Revenue Officer (CRO) is focused on bringing in new revenue and maximizing pipeline growth, while a Chief Operating Officer (COO) focuses on optimizing the operation of existing products and services. As a CRO, you’re responsible for driving sales strategy, setting quotas and managing sales teams to reach their goals. Meanwhile, as COO, you’re responsible for overseeing the internal operations of your organization from a financial and operational standpoint. This can include handling budgeting, resource allocation, product development, customer service and more. Both roles are integral to the success of an organization, so it’s important to understand how each one contributes to the company’s bottom line.
