Company Leave Letter

A company leave letter is a formal request in writing from an employee to their employer, requesting permission to take time away from their job. The leave letter should include details such as the reason for the absence, the requested dates of leave, and any other pertinent information that the employer should know prior to approving the request. Company leave letters allow employers to properly document and manage employees’ absences. It also allows employees to formally communicate their vacation or leave plans to their manager – so there is no confusion or misunderstanding about the employee’s intentions.
