Consignment

Consignment is a method of selling goods in which the seller retains ownership of the goods until they are sold. The seller ships the goods to the buyer, who pays for them only when they are sold. This type of sale is often used when the buyer is uncertain about how much product they will need, or when the products are expensive and the buyer does not want to tie up their capital in unsold inventory.
