Construction Contract Termination Letter

A Construction Contract Termination Letter is an official document issued by the contractor in order to terminate a construction contract before its completion. This letter gives notice that the contractual agreement between the involved parties will no longer be in effect and sets out any relevant information about the end of the agreement. The termination letter must include details such as dates of termination, a description of the project or services being terminated, specifications outlining which party has breached the terms of the contract, and terms for compensation for labor or materials already provided. It should also contain instructions regarding any remaining obligations from either side and provide guidelines for communications between the parties after the termination date.
