Digital Signature And Electronic Signature

A digital signature and an electronic signature are both used to authenticate a document. A digital signature is a unique form of identification that is tied to the signer’s identity, while an electronic signature can be any type of signature, such as a typed name or a scanned signature. Digital signatures use public-key cryptography to ensure that the signature cannot be forged and the document cannot be modified without invalidating the signature. This makes digital signatures an essential part of the digital business world, providing an added layer of security. Electronic signatures offer similar benefits, but are often less secure since anyone with access to the document can make changes and forge a signature. Nevertheless, electronic signatures can still provide documents with legal standing. Both digital signatures and electronic signatures are necessary for conducting business in the modern world.
