EU Contract Rules

The EU Contract Rules are a set of rules that govern the procurement process in the European Union. The rules are designed to ensure a fair, transparent and efficient procurement process, and to level the playing field for all participants.

The EU Contract Rules define the procedures that must be followed in order to award a contract, and lay down the rights and obligations of the contracting authorities and the contractors. They also establish a series of remedies that can be used in case of breach of contract.

The EU Contract Rules are applicable to all public contracts above a certain threshold, as well as to some types of private contracts.
