Fiscal Year Months

A Fiscal Year Month (FYM) is the specific period of time used to measure a business’s financial performance. It’s commonly divided into 12 months, beginning on July 1 and ending on June 30. For example, if you started your fiscal year in January 2020, then January would be your first FYM, and December would be your final FYM. Each month is tracked and analyzed individually so that businesses can accurately monitor their expenses, income, investments, liabilities, and more. Tracking over a fiscal year gives managers a better understanding of any fluctuations in the market and prepares them for upcoming opportunities or risks.
