Lease Amendment To Extend Term

A Lease Amendment To Extend Term is a contractual agreement between two or more parties that amends the existing terms of a legally binding lease. This amendment enables the lessee to extend its tenancy beyond the expiration date specified in the original lease, while at the same time, potentially changing or modifying other parts of the agreement. Examples of what can be amended can include rent amount, duration of extension, and/or obligations of either party. The amendment must be signed by both parties in order for it to be valid.
