Lease Extension Agreement

A Lease Extension Agreement is a legally binding document that outlines the terms and conditions by which a tenant and landlord can extend an existing lease. It is intended to provide both parties with continued protection from undesirable changes in rent or other related matters, as outlined in the original lease agreement. This type of agreement is often entered into when a current tenant wishes to stay in their rental space for an extended period of time, or when a landlord wishes to make modifications to rental terms. By signing this agreement, both parties agree to continue their current lease together for a specified duration.
