Post-Contract Award Stage

Post-Contract Award Stage Definition

Once a contract has been awarded, the post-contract award stage begins. This is when the project team will start to work on delivering the project, in line with the contract that has been agreed.

The post-contract award stage can be divided into two main phases:

1) The pre-production phase

2) The production phase

The pre-production phase is when the project team will prepare for delivery of the project. This includes finalising the project plan, mobilising resources, and ensuring that all necessary approvals are in place.

The production phase is when the actual work of delivering the project will take place. This includes carrying out activities such as construction, manufacturing, testing, and installation.
