Project Management Execution Phase

The Project Management Execution Phase a period during a project’s life-cycle where the project’s actual execution begins. This phase includes the activities and processes of executing the project plan, monitoring progress, and managing resources to meet the project’s objectives. This phase is also referred to as the “doing” phase. During this phase, project teams work together to accomplish the work that needs to be completed as outlined in the project plan. This includes activities like performing the tasks that were identified during the planning phase, monitoring the project’s progress and managing risks, and managing the project’s resources. The project manager is responsible for leading the project team and making sure that the project remains on track. During this phase, the team must remain focused on the project’s goals, objectives, and deliverables.
