Project Manager Functions

The project manager is responsible for planning, executing, and closing out projects within an organization. They must analyze the project needs and create a comprehensive plan that outlines the timeline, budget, and objectives of the project. During the execution phase, the project manager monitors progress, assesses risks, coordinates team members and collaborators, resolves conflicts, and follows up with stakeholders to ensure satisfaction. In the closing phase, the project manager ensures quality control and evaluates project performance metrics for future reference. Project managers must have excellent organizational skills, communication skills, problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and be able to think strategically to coordinate successful projects from start to finish.
