Redline A Contract

Redline A Contract Definition

When you’re ready to sign a contract, be sure to read it thoroughly and make any necessary changes. This process is known as ‘redlining.’

To redline a contract definition, first read the document in its entirety. Then, identify any areas that need to be changed or clarified. Make your changes directly on the document, using a different color pen or highlighter so that they stand out.

Once you’ve made all of your changes, go over the document again with the other party to make sure they understand and agree to all of the changes. Only then should you both sign the contract.
