Rfi Request For Information

The official business definition of a Request for Information (RFI) is a document used to gather information from potential suppliers in order to make an informed decision when selecting a vendor. An RFI typically includes a description of the product or service needed, the desired timeline for delivery, and any other relevant information that may be helpful in making a decision. The goal of an RFI is to obtain the most comprehensive and accurate information possible from potential suppliers in order to make the best decision. An RFI is not a binding agreement, and it does not guarantee that the vendor will be selected. It is simply a way to gather information from potential suppliers and make an informed decision.
