Standard Building Contract

A Standard Building Contract (SBC) is a contract used to set out the terms and conditions between a builder and a client for the construction of a new building or the renovation of an existing one. The SBC sets out the scope of work to be undertaken, the schedule of works, the payment terms, and other important details. It is important to have a written contract in place before any work begins, to avoid any misunderstandings or disputes down the line.
