Subject To Contract

Subject To Contract Definition

The term ‘subject to contract’ is often used in business dealings to indicate that an agreement between two parties is not final until a contract is signed. This allows the parties to negotiate the terms of the agreement without being legally bound to anything until the contract is finalized. The use of this term can help prevent misunderstandings and disagreements later on, since both parties will know that nothing is set in stone until the contract is signed.
