Supply Chain Providers (SCP) are companies or organizations which supply goods and services to other businesses at a global scale. They are responsible for managing the entire process of delivery of materials, services, information and/or products from initial production to actual delivery to the customer. A good SCP will keep track of all aspects of the supply chain, including the procurement of raw materials, manufacturing processes, distribution logistics, inventory control, product quality assurance, order fulfillment, and customer service. A successful SCP should be able to ensure that the customer receives its goods and/or services in a timely manner, with high quality and low cost.
