Trade Execution

Trade Execution Definition

When you execute a trade, you are simply placing an order to buy or sell a security. This can be done through a broker or by using a trading platform. When you place an order, you will need to specify the type of order, the security you wish to trade, the quantity, and the price. Your order will then be matched with another order from another trader and the trade will be executed.
