Vendor Managed Inventories (VMI)

Vendor Managed Inventories (VMI) are a system that enables suppliers to take responsibility for managing and controlling the inventory levels of their customers. This arrangement allows customers to focus on other aspects of their business, while the supplier manages all aspects of the inventory process, from warnings of low stock levels at the customer’s end to filling orders with no more than a predetermined level of overstock. By outsourcing this task to a qualified vendor, customers can save time and money, as well as boost the efficiency of their overall operations.
