Witness Signature Vs Notary

A witness signature is when a person signs a document to confirm it came from the signatory and that its contents are accurate. It is not required in most cases, but serves as a good form of evidence for court proceedings or legal documents.

A Notary Signature, on the other hand, is a more formal way of validating documents. A Notary acts as an impartial third-party and ensures the document has been signed by the right people and with their full knowledge. This makes it difficult to challenge the validity of the document at a later date. A Notary’s stamp on the document gives it additional authority and makes it easier to prove its authenticity in a court of law.
