Product Life Cycle Management Stages

Product Life Cycle Management (PLM) is the process of managing a product from conception to end-of-life. It involves all stages of bringing a product to market, including concept development, design and engineering, manufacturing, sales and distribution, and end-of-life processing. By tracking a product’s entire life cycle, organizations can ensure that resources are maximized, quality is maintained, and customer satisfaction is achieved. PLM also helps identify opportunities for efficiencies, cost savings, and improvements in overall product quality. Put simply, PLM helps create products with more value for customers and fewer resources for manufacturers!
