Parental Fit Definition

Every family is different, and what works for one might not work for another. There is no single right or wrong way to parent, but there is such a thing as a good fit – when your parenting style meshes well with your child’s personality and needs.

A good parental fit means that you’re providing the right level of support and structure for your child. You understand their strengths and weaknesses and are able to tailor your parenting accordingly. This doesn’t mean that you’re always going to get it perfect – we all make mistakes – but it does mean that you’re attuned to your child’s individual needs.
