DCED (Department of Community and Economic Development)
The Department of Community and Economic Development (DCED) is a Pennsylvania state agency charged with creating jobs, communities and economic opportunity. DCED works in partnership with local governments, businesses, and organizations to foster economic development and job growth, stimulate private investment, strengthen the fiscal health of local governments, promote innovation and entrepreneurship, and ensure responsible use of taxpayers’ money. DCED’s goal is to create a vibrant Commonwealth economy that will help build strong communities and provide opportunities for all Pennsylvanians to succeed.
