The Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) is an international independent standards organization that helps organizations report on their economic, environmental, and social impact. GRI’s mission is to “empower organizations everywhere to understand and communicate their impacts for the highest benefit of all.” This is accomplished through the development and implementation of reporting frameworks which allow companies to measure, disclose, and manage their sustainability performance in accordance with globally recognized standards.
