SAD (Single administrative document)

The Single Administrative Document (SAD) is an official document utilized by customs authorities in the European Union to facilitate the import and export of goods within and from EU member states. This document is required for any international trade transactions, including those of a commercial nature, as it identifies the movement between parties and serves as proof that taxes have been paid. The SAD also serves as an invoice, declaration, and payment order which simplifies the customs process to minimize delays and expedite shipping times for all involved parties.
