COOP (Cooperative Purchase or Cooperative Procurement)

Coop procurement, also known as cooperative purchasing or cooperative purchase, is a type of government procurement process where multiple government agencies join forces to leverage their purchasing power and reduce costs. It allows agencies to negotiate better deals with suppliers by combining buying volumes from multiple entities. Through this process, government entities can access more competitively priced goods and services while at the same time sharing resources and streamlining procurement processes.
