DLA (Defense Logistics Agency)

The Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) is a combat support agency and one of the Department of Defense’s largest logistics organizations. It provides global logistics support to military forces, including storage, transportation, acquisition, supply management, and other related services. With its network of more than 3,500 major and minor suppliers, DLA ensures that the U.S. Armed Forces have the supplies and services they need to effectively carry out their missions. The mission of DLA is to support America’s warfighters by “providing global logistics for the United States in peacetime and during war.”
