EOI (Expression of Interest)
An Expression of Interest, also known as an EOI, is a formal business document used by a prospective vendor in the procurement process. It signals to the buyer that they have the capabilities and capacity needed to execute a project or provide a service specified in the request for proposal (RFP). This document is usually an initial step in the process allowing vendors to demonstrate their competency before being invited to submit a formal proposal. By providing basic details such as experience, qualifications, and technical abilities, vendors are able to position themselves favorably in the competitive bidding environment.
