Is oboloo really free?

Yes — oboloo includes a Free Forever plan with no time limits, credit cards, or hidden charges. You can use the core features for as long as you like and only upgrade if you need additional features.

How does your pricing work?

oboloo uses a modular pricing model — you only pay for the modules you need, and each module is priced per user (license).

You can add or remove modules at any time, and your total subscription is calculated based on:
- The modules you select
- Your number of licenses
- Whether you choose monthly or annual billing

How do upgrades and prorated charges work?

If you add more seats or add new modules partway through your billing cycle, Stripe automatically calculates a prorated amount so you only pay for the remaining time in your current cycle.

You never get charged twice for the same period.

Are there any setup fees or hidden charges?

No. There are no setup fees, no hidden costs, and no mandatory onboarding charges. You only pay for the modules and seats you choose.

Can I use different modules for different teams?

Yes. You can select any combination of modules. All users have access to all subscribed modules unless you restrict access using Custom RBAC (role-based access control).

What payment methods do you accept?

You can pay via Stripe using:

- Debit/credit card
- PayPal
- Apple Pay / Google Pay (where supported)
- Bank transfer

Invoices options are available for larger enterprise contracts.

Do you offer refunds?

Because we provide a Free Trial and Free Forever tier, and all upgrades are prorated, we do not offer refunds for unused time.

Your subscription will continue until the end of the paid billing period.

Do all modules share the same license count?

Yes. oboloo is organisation-wide, so all selected modules use the same number of licenses. If you update your license count, it applies to every module.

What’s the difference between monthly and annual billing?

- Monthly Billing: Pay month-to-month, cancel anytime.
- Annual Billing: Pay once per year with a 16% discount (equivalent to two months free).

You can switch between monthly and annual which will take affect on your next renewal date.

Can I remove a module from my subscription?

Yes. If you remove a module, it will stay active until your next renewal date. You won’t be charged again for that module after the renewal.

How do I increase or decrease my number of user licenses?

You can update your license count at any time from your subscription page.

- Increases are prorated instantly.
- Decreases take effect at your next billing date to avoid disrupting active users.

Do you offer discounts?

Yes — annual billing includes a 16% discount by default.

We also offer custom pricing for larger organisations purchasing high seat volumes.

Charities can also apply for a 50% discount on licenses when purchasing all paid for modules in one subscription

Can I cancel my subscription?

Yes. You can cancel anytime. Your subscription will remain active for the period you’ve already paid for, and then it will end automatically.

Will my data be deleted if I cancel?

No. Your data remains safe.

After cancellation, your account automatically moves to our Free Forever plan, with limited functionality but full access to your stored data.

If you would like oboloo to remove all of your organisations data, please request this from the oboloo support team.
